Wertheim/Guadalajara, June 2017
The first EPP EUROPE/emsNOW InnovationsForum Mexico took place only a few kilometers away from the Mexican Ersa subsidiary. Right from the beginning, Ersa has supported this event, and thus participated as an active partner in the first edition of the InnovationsForum Mexico. The very first InnovationsForum was held five years ago in Germany and has taken place annually since then. For two years now, there have also been events in the Hungarian capital of Budapest. Now the leap to Mexico, where the Universidad Panamericana provided an ideal location on their campus.
More than 140 decision-makers from the electronic sector made the forum a great success – as well as the venue, the keynote speaker of chip producer Intel, an interesting supporting program and the perfectly planned organization. Ersa Area Sales Manager Ismael Estrada gave his presentation in Spanish on the subject “Estrategia de cero defectos – Pensamientos deseables o realizables?”, in English “Zero-defect-strategy – feasible or wishful thinking?”. Apart from parameters which influence the quality of the electronic assembly, the presentation focused on the avoidance of errors by the example of a VERSAFLOW 4/55 selective soldering system with VERSASCAN and VERSAEYE board examination systems, which can monitor processes and avoid errors in perfect interaction. The event started punctually at 9:30 a.m. local time and ended only at 7:30 p.m. when all the questions of the inquisitive participants were answered. A second innovation forum in 2018 is already in planning.
