AB Electronic Devices opens new demo room in Barcelona

With the opening of a new demo center in Barcelona and the hiring of sales engineer Josep Alarcon, AB Electronic Devices strengthens its sales force for the Catalonia region. For the opening of its new customer demonstration center, AB Electronic invited several machine suppliers to present selected technologies to customers and interested parties during a two-day in-house exhibition (23.10. and 24.10.).

Among them the Ersa GmbH, whose presence on the Spanish year grows from year to year. For the opening of the demo center, Ersa provided two selective soldering systems – a VERSAFLOW 4/55 with VERSAFLEX soldering module and the compact SMARTFLOW 2020. More than 30 prospective customers from the greater Barcelona area accepted the invitation of AB Electronic Devices, including well-known companies such as Magneti Marelli, Dezac and Ficosa – but also some potential new customers. “SMARTFLOW was sold during the show and we have launched several interesting projects with short and long term perspectives,” said Ersa Area Sales Manager Tom Berx, who is convinced that the new demo center will generate further growth for AB Electronic Devices and Ersa.
