The sales meeting with the partners from Southeast Asia traditionally takes place at the end of the year – after stops in Vietnam, Malaysia and Japan, this time in Chinese Zhuhai. For the first time, the Asia Sales Meeting was also open to customers, with an internal appointment of one and a half days. In the afternoon of the second day, invited customers attended the presentation of the new EXOS vacuum reflow soldering system, which was demonstrated live in the Zhuhai production facility the following day. Another highlight was the presentation of the new rework systems HR 500, HR 550 XL and HR 600/3 P for miniature applications.

 

There was great interest and many questions about the extended customer service with digital connection via Kurtz Ersa CONNECT. The industry 4.0 platform with the success factors Smart Solutions – Smart Services – Smart Production, which covers the entire Ersa range of services, i.e. machines, automation, rework systems and soldering stations, including the connection of third-party machines and MES systems, was well received. “We will transfer our success in Europe to Asia. To this end, we discussed and approved the sales and product strategy in detail at the Ersa Asia Sales Meeting. From here we carry the good mood from Productronica 2019 into the coming months,” said Ersa General Sales Manager Rainer Krauss.
