With seven soldering stations and extensive soldering accessories, Ersa GmbH and the long-time Romanian representative EEE supported the electronics faculty of the Polytechnic University of Timisoara. At the state technical university with around 15,000 students, there are five faculties that have a clear connection to electronics production via electronics, electrics, automation, computers or communication. Many Romanian engineers working in electronics manufacturing have graduated in Timisoara. And many Ersa engineers have passed on their expert knowledge in the form of seminars – some of the topics presented are now an integral part of the Timisoara curriculum.

On April 14, Prof. Dr. Dan Lascu, Head of the Electronics Faculty, welcomed four visitors from EEE and Ersa who wanted to get an idea of the university, which was founded in 1920. The responsible university representatives, Prof. Dr. Ing. Radu Vasiu, Prof. Dr. Ing. Dan Lascu, Head of Department Prof. Dr. Ioan Lie and Assistant Professor Dr. Ing. Septimiu Lica, thanked the sponsors EEE and Ersa GmbH for their generous support, especially on behalf of the students, and are looking forward to the future exchange.
