As market leader for soldering technology, Ersa organized two further technology seminars in India together with India representative Bergen Associates Pvt. Ltd. India – on June 20 in Pune, West India, and on June 22 in Bangalore, South India. More than 50 engineers from production and product development of existing customers and from the high-tech industry took part in each event.

The following processes and procedures were explained in detail by PowerPoint presentation and illustrated by video clip: stencil printing, reflow soldering, selective soldering, wave soldering and rework processes. To deepen the know-how presented, each participant received an exclusive technology handbook in printed form. To round off the day´s programme, Ersa and Bergen invited several business partners to present their technology – DS SOLIDWORKS India (development software), Europlacer International, France (SMT assembly) and Kolb Cleaning Technology (cleaning) were pleased to follow suit and each reported on their innovative solutions in a half-hour presentation.

For the first time, an Ersa employee from India, Mr. G. Gopakumur, supported the event to the best of his ability and welcomed the customers very warmly. The two 1-day events in Pune and Bangalore were very well received by the participants – and the Ersa delegation was able to report direct successes: The return luggage contained a direct order as well as verbal commitments for two further projects. In addition, several other projects were technically coordinated with customers during the seminar. “Thus we see a continuation of the positive trend on the Indian market for this year,” summarized a satisfied Ersa General Sales Manager Rainer Krauss.
