Nepcon Japan – ERSA wins over customers at Asia’s largest electronic exhibition

On almost 70 000 m², 1150 exhibitors showed products and production equipment for the electronic production. The record attendance of more than 71 000 visitors proved emphatically, that this exhibition is indeed a perfect venue for visitors and customers to initiate new contacts with potential suppliers.

Especially notable was the presence of a very large number of foreign exhibitors and visitors. This demonstrates that the show is becoming more and more an international market place, which opens up, for both the Japanese and the international attendants, the opportunity to expand their global marketing efforts.

From its very beginning in 1972, the Nepcon Japan exhibition mirrors the growth of the Japanese electronics industry. Starting with printed circuit board material, continuing into manufacturing, SMT production and technology, test equipment, inspection and analytic tools up to electronic component packages - the exhibition as it presents itself today indeed encompasses all imaginable aspects of the electronic industry.

ERSA, together with its Japanese agent Dynatech, took advantage of this excellent opportunity to display to Asia's most demanding electronics manufacturers some of its products. On a total of 27 m² floor space, the complete range of ERSA tools, rework and inspection equipment was presented. The strong attendance of the show enabled the ERSA / Dynatech team to garner a record number of show contacts. Specifically for the areas of rework systems and industrial soldering stations it became apparent, that the high-performance units "Made by ERSA" fully comply with the technically extremely high expectations of the Japanese electronic developers and manufacturers.

All in all, it became apparent, that the diligent effort of the ERSA team to create a market for their products in Japan, and the untiring effort of Dynatech to assist thereby, is starting to bear fruits. The Land of the Rising Sun shows bright prospects for ERSA and its products.
