As of 8 March, Penang Island can boast a further valuable attraction – the Ersa Showroom! The increasing pressure on space in the previous application center is now a thing of the past. With its range of services, the new Ersa Showroom is intended to primarily address locally-based high-tech industry specialising in electronics. Faster and more comprehensive support and advice on site is becoming ever more important in dynamic electronics manufacturing – including in South East Asia.
This is what led to the decision of Ersa and its long-time partner, Long Shine, to offer customers and potential customers an ideal platform for the exchange of technological ideas. In the Ersa Showroom in Penang, machinery and soldering tools can be evaluated and assessed; in addition, precise production times can be determined for individual electronic sub-assemblies on Ersa equipment. On this basis, the experts on site can recommend the ideal equipment configuration to meet the production capacity requirements. Ersa also supports its customers when immediate action is needed: with the rework-repair station, individual components in a circuit can be replaced within just minutes, returning the sub-assembly to full functionality.
