The annual Productronica in Shanghai has meanwhile matured into the Chinese showcase for the entire electronics production: Semiconductors, lasers, infrared technology, sensor technology – in addition to the scope of services offered by the German electronica and Productronica, the Chinese electronics trade fair also featured factory automation.

System supplier Ersa presented its complete portfolio of machines, tools and rework programs at Productronica China from March 20 to 22. VERSAFLOW 3/45 and the flagship VERSAFLOW 4/55 were exhibited on the side of selective soldering technology. In addition, the reflow soldering system HOTFLOW 3/20, the POWERFLOW wave soldering machine and the stencil printer VERSAPRINT 2 Elite plus were constantly surrounded by interested parties and customers. Right next to the Ersa booth, the Smart Factory was set up as a complete production line – six professional panels were continuously soldered on the HOTFLOW 3/20 and the battery sockets were selectively soldered live in the VERSAFLOW 3/45 after automatic assembly. The finished PCBs represented butterflies with LED flashing lights and were very popular with the visitors.

The soldering tools were represented by i-CON PICO, NANO and VARIO soldering stations in conjunction with the EASY ARM solder fume extraction system. The entire range of rework systems was also ready for operation, and interest in the HR 550 and 600 models in particular continues unabated. “The HR 600 XL is already actively sold in China, but was demonstrated for the first time at the Productronica in Shanghai. The reaction of the fair visitors showed that with this rework system we cover the market requirement 100%,” said Ersa General Sales Manager Rainer Krauss in Shanghai, who was satisfied with the enormous number of visitors and three successful fair days.
