Expectations were high for the biennial SMT trade fair in Odense, Denmark – more than 4,000 interested parties had registered in advance for the “E-18 Electronics Technology”, already significantly more than the previous trade fair in 2016 with 3,600 visitors. And indeed, Denmark´s largest electronics trade fair, which took place from September 11 to 13 at the Odense Congress Center, ended with more than 5,000 visitors. The stand of the Interflux, which has been selling Ersa tools and machines for 17 years, was well prepared for the great interest of visitors and stood out from the other exhibitors due to the size and variety of the systems and machines presented.

As two years ago, Ersa was represented with the most systems and once again demonstrated its presence in Denmark in an impressive way with the product range presented. The Ersa Tools division presented the HR 600 and HR 550 rework systems, the ERSASCOPE 2 inspection system and the complete range of manual soldering systems. Among the machines, the SMARTFLOW 2020 and VERSAFLOW 4/55 soldering systems marked the smallest and largest expansion stages of the selective soldering family. The VERSAPRINT 2 Ultra³ stencil printer was shown, the highlight of which was an integrated 100% 3D post-print inspection system. This year´s Ersa team – with Tobias van Rossem, Sales Machines Denmark, Frank Kappel, Sales Tools Denmark, and Wolfram Hübsch, Product Manager Stencil Printer – was always available for presentations and customer questions. After three days the Ersa Team and Interflux Denmark owner Leif Fenger drew a positive conclusion and reported a very good project situation in the same breath.
