Wertheim/Bangalore, 27 September 2016
The Electronica India and Productronica India trade fairs opened their gates from 21 to 23 September 2016 in Bangalore. Comparing the electronics markets worldwide India comes in on 10th place. With a total volume of currently about US$ 80 billion and a huge potential in electronic devices and equipment (US$ 400 billion until 2020) the Indian subcontinent is a very attractive market for Ersa; an increasing number of projects coming from this region standing proof for this.
Together with our sales partner, Bergen Associates Pvt. Ltd., Ersa presented the latest technologies in the field of machine and manual soldering. The IMAGESOFT was a special highlight on the booth. This software with augmented reality feature – computer-assisted perception of reality – allows 3D insights into the soldering machine without actually standing in front of a real system, which left a lasting impression with the visitors. In the field of hand soldering Ersa exhibited the entire line of i-CON soldering stations, starting with the smallest model i-CON PICO right through to the high-end multi-channel soldering and desoldering station i-CON VARIO 4.
2016 will be a successful and award-winning year for Ersa – In the first two quarters, Ersa already received several awards, among them prizes for the Ersa selective soldering technology. Ersa´s leadership in this technology was once more confirmed during Productronica India, as Ersa was awarded the Best of Industry Award 2016 in “Manufacturing Excellence in Selective Soldering”. India´s leading electronic magazine “Electronics Maker” honors excellence of outstanding industry leaders with this award. Ersa´s resume of the three exciting days spent at Electronica India/Productronica India is very positive: Apart from numerous sales conclusions we had very interesting discussions with experts, and several open projects could be advanced considerably.
