After the market launch of the Ersa stencil printer VERSAPRINT 2 in China two months ago, it was the turn of the Southeast Asian market on July 10 – the entire sales team of the region, all employees of Long Shine, met at the Ersa Application and Democenter in Penang, Malaysia. As a long-standing sales partner, Long Shine has been active for Ersa GmbH for 20 years in Thailand, the Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam and Singapore. A total of 18 sales people from these countries attended the presentation of the new VERSAPRINT 2 stencil printer.
Kurtz Ersa Asia CEO Bernd Schenker and Ulrich Dosch, Manager Key Accounts & Business Development Kurtz Ersa Asia, opened the seminar and swore the team in on the new product and its possibilities. Wolfram Hübsch, Ersa product manager for this division, took over the technical part. It started with basic things like process and possible errors during the printing process. This was followed by an overview of the individual machine models together with available options – always with a focus on the sales side. USPs and differences to competitors were named as well as advantages of the new product as part of the Ersa family. Finally, the possibilities of marketing strategies and measures to help the printer succeed in the market were discussed. As a conclusion, it was noted that the entire team has received the new product with great motivation and is confident that the first successes will be achieved as soon as possible.
