Solder Alloy

Solder alloys are compounds of different metals. The alloy used in the electronic industry usually is a solder alloy based on tin. Some common compounds used for solder for the electronic industry are copper, silver, bismuth, and to a lesser extend today lead. The choice of alloy and their components determines their melting temperature, which again is determined by the application of the product.
