Wave Soldering

Wave soldering is a process to solder populated printed circuits boards. The process of wave soldering breaks down into 4 process steps: Fluxing, preheating, soldering and (optionally) cooling. In the wave soldering process, the underside of the assembly is passed over a flowing wave of liquid solder, which wets the pads and the component terminations and forms the joints.
