The Kurtz FOAMER shape moulding machines present themselves in a new garb – from now on, sophisticated steel blue graces the machinery casing. Apart from the new look, the inner workings of the Kurtz FOAMER offer the usual technological diversity which has a wide range of applications in the STYRO FOAMER PURE basic system or in the all-rounders, STYRO FOAMER and PRO FOAMER. Individual solutions for the production of EPS boxes (BOX FOAMER), sloped roof slabs (ROOF FOAMER) or insulating panels (PANEL FOAMER) are child’s play for Kurtz shape moulding machines. Even for the leisure or safety industries, Kurtz offers the right solution with the ENERGY FOAMER.

 

Almost all Kurtz shape moulding machines are “4.0 READY“ – that means they can be optimised with the Industrie 4.0 solutions from Kurtz. Options such as Eject Control 4.0 and Motion Optimiser 4.0 optimise production processes, reduce energy consumption and lead to reproducible quality at highest level.

 

A completely new addition to the FOAMER family and available for viewing in a live demonstration at K 2016 is the Kurtz ROTO FOAMER. An absolute highlight here: the mould which can be rotated through 180 degrees. With its rotating double steam chamber, the ROTO FOAMER is the specialist for insert moulding of EPS and EPP and achieves cycle times which are up to 50% shorter – here the Kurtz engineers recommend the combination with the robot systems. Also live on site: the Kurtz PRO FOAMER which sets new standards in high-end processing of EPS and EPP. Processing at up to 5 bar is easily possible and provides energy savings of up to 70%! Thanks to i-PRO technology, the highest standards of quality, productivity and energy efficiency are achieved. At K 2016, Kurtz is presenting the PRO FOAMER with new, even more intuitive control panel and with demoulding technology from the long-term partner C.K. Teknik.
