Kurtz POWerBoard: More performance for your entire system!

Kurtz GmbH from 14 to 16 January at the EUROGUSS 2020

Kreuzwertheim/Nürnberg, 13.01.2020
Starting tomorrow, the “Who´s Who” of the foundry industry will meet again in Nuremberg, where EUROGUSS will be held for the 13th time. Europe´s biggest trade fair for die casting is expected to attract some 15,000 visitors, making it once again the platform for exchanging information on current challenges, new products and innovative process technologies in the industry.

As in the past, the foundry machinery division of Kurtz GmbH will be taking part in Hall 7A and will be presenting its new Kurtz POWerBoard Industrial-IoT solution to the public, which enables a considerable increase in foundry plant efficiency (OEE for short). Under the buzzword Industry 4.0, the digitisation and networking of components, machines and complex systems lead to significantly higher productivity. As a leading supplier of foundry machinery, Kurtz GmbH offers its customers intelligent solutions to enhance process reliability and to increase speed and quality in terms of service. In addition, resource and energy efficiency in production is a major challenge for many foundries – many sub-processes in production are still controlled individually, intelligent networking is usually missing. This is precisely where the Kurtz POWerBoard comes in as a dynamic control tool, recognising influencing variables and optimising the entire casting process. Possible practical examples are machine monitoring, worldwide downtime tracking, remote service and artificial intelligence modules such as correlation detection – all packaged in a secure, globally available cloud solution!

In addition to the POWerBoard, the Kurtz exhibition team will also be available for exchanging experience about successful solutions in low-pressure die casting as a highly efficient alternative to die casting, the downstream deburring process with the industry´s fastest press, and the implementation of complete casting lines.
