With transfer technology for the production of a moulding several moulds are used. Expandable beads are filled into a "hot mould" and sintered by applying steam. After short foam pressure reduction they are transferred into the "cold mould". The moulding touches the relatively cold mould wall and thus the foam is further cooled down and stabilized enough so that the moulding can be removed. With this process a high productivity at low energy consumption is achieved.
Wide fields of application
The option of inserting and laminating offers further fields of application. Based on the transfer technology Kurtz also offers solutions for the production of floor heating elements, if required with sound insulation and two densities.
