The customer foundry gathers six casting processes under one roof. For low-pressure casting, our customer has recently opted for another Kurtz AL13-13TC.
This machine type, equipped with a crucible furnace and thus ideally suited for frequent alloy changes, is excellently suited for specific requirements of "customer foundries". A further advantage is the compact machine design, which allows installation where space is limited. The identical casting machines now stand side by side as a cell. One operator can run both low-pressure casting machines simultaneously. The identical equipment allows dies and casting recipes to be exchanged as required. Smart and above all economical.
