Ersa was again well presented there together with its local partner Long Shine Machinery on a small but elegant booth. The customer response was extremely positive and it was clearly felt that the market in Southeast Asia is currently on the rise.
This is mainly due to the current political developments between China and the USA. Thailand plays a decisive role here. The main themes of the fair were mainly 5G technology, smart products and the introduction of Industry 4.0 in electronics manufacturing. Accordingly, the conclusion of Bernd Schenker, Managing Director of Kurtz Ersa Asia, was equally positive: “The increasing demand for high-tech products – smart machines – and the relocation of production facilities will lead to numerous new investments, especially in Southeast Asia.
