Following three eventful days, Productronica India, the most important electronics industry event in India and Southeast Asia, came to an end on 16 September. The main focus of the fair, which was being held for the 18th time and dates back to 2000, was on increasing electrification in the automotive sector and “electronic systems design and manufacturing”, in brief ESDM.
In close cooperation with the long-term Ersa India representative, Bergen Associates Pvt. Ltd., an attractive fair presentation was planned and implemented – with the machinery on show including the VERSAPRINT stencil printer and an energy-efficient HOTFLOW 3/14e reflow system, while the tools division presented, among other exhibits, the electronically regulated, multichannel soldering and desoldering stations, i-CON VARIO 2 and i-CON VARIO 4.
Die Verantwortlichen bei Ersa und Bergen Associates freuten sich über einen durchweg sehr guten Zuspruch des fachkundigen Messepublikums: „Im indischen Markt herrscht insgesamt eine positive Grundstimmung. Wir konnten viele neue Kontakte knüpfen und zahlreiche Projekte mit nach Hause nehmen, sogar einen konkreten Abschluss gab es“, sagte Ersa Gesamtvertriebsleiter Rainer Krauss, der in Indien ein fruchtbares Umfeld für die Ansiedlung von Elektronikfertigungen auch dank Unterstützung seitens der indischen Regierung sieht.
