Under the motto "FUTURE SERVICES & ADDED VALUES", Ersa GmbH once again presented a wide variety of innovative highlights for the sustainable production of electronic assemblies at the leading electronics trade fair Productronica from November 14 to 17 in Munich. In addition to highly productive "state of the art" machines and equipment from various technology areas of electronics production, the system supplier also demonstrated its innovative strength in the form of digital product presentations and services.
The tour of the trade show began with the VERSAFLOW ONE, which marks the entry into the excellence class of selective soldering and was presented in Munich in the new "X-Series" version. This features an x-variable axis system and can be configured into a high-speed machine.
In the area of reflow soldering, the throughput-oriented HOTFLOW THREE with patented cleaning system and maintenance intervals of twelve and more weeks attracted a lot of attention. The portfolio also includes the new entry-level model HOTFLOW ONE or the high-end vacuum reflow soldering system EXOS, which visitors can experience in detail via digital staging.
The requirements in terms of reproducible quality and automation are also increasing in component repair - here Ersa presented various models from the successful Hybrid Rework series, which provides suitable devices and systems for all applications. For example, the HR 600 XL for processing very large assemblies with extended bottom heating and with Auto Scavenger module for contactless residual solder removal.
In the field of soldering tools, Ersa presented the new i-CON MK2 soldering station series, which brings more performance for industrial hand soldering. Like the intelligently networkable IoT soldering station i-CON TRACE, the MK2 series relies on the new soldering tip technology TIP´N´TURN, which is fast and efficient - and requires no additional tools.
The Ersa VERSAFIT 500 is an effective, highly flexible inline system that can be used to increase competitiveness in electronics production using press-fit technology. This alternative connection technology can significantly reduce production costs and improve assembly quality.
